How to Import Parts from UK/EU with a PO box

I started this year to complete a mk1 project entailing a lot of rare parts not usually available from the typical sources. I've had to source a lot of parts from UK, and others from Italy. I was daunted by the task and I thought I should resort to the usual forwarder I use from the US but thought it would cost both time and more money.

Good thing I found this shipping forwarder from the UK, https://www.forward2me.com after researching and asking around the forwarders from UK to PH. Almost all of them placed extra charge for car parts or did not allow them all together. I imported a mk1 austin seven steering wheel first. The seller from ebay didn't want to ship internationally so I had to resort to this shipping forwarder.

This is the typical screen after you sign up to the service. They give you the number that you add to your ebay address.

After receiving the item from ebay you are sent an email telling you to describe the item you just sent to your UK address as well as put in the price. You can place any price you wish, be warned however that PH customs do random checks of shipments, and they do ask for a proof of payment for your purchases. A screenshot of the receipt you paid either on paypal or on ebay usually is accepted. You can keep adding on your purchases up to a max of 20. You can then combine your purchases together or seperately whichever you wish, however there is an additional charge for consolidating your purchases.
This is the screen for the shipment. As you can see I shipped a fender side mirror, and a motolita steering wheel in this purchase. My preference is to choose UPS compared to DHL since UPS usually arrives faster in 2 to 3 days compared to DHL.

Now you're ready to start shipping parts from ebay. Next time I'll add tutorials for US, and Japan. Enjoy shopping!

If you have any tips to ship parts from UK to PH comment!
